Indoor BB Gun Shoot

Our Indoor BB Gun Shoots are held the 2nd Sunday of the month and begin at noon. All ages are welcome to participate (younger children may receive some assistance from a parent/guardian if needed). These shoots will begin in November and end in the Spring (month TBD). Each shoot consists of 10 rounds and typically lasts for about 2 hours depending on how many shooters are present. If there's a big sporting event going on at the same time the shoot is occurring, we will have it available to watch on our TVs during the shoot. The price-per-person to participate in all 10 rounds is $20. You do not need to participate in all rounds, but you must participate in a pre-determined amount of rounds to qualify for some of the later rounds (explained at the shoot). The prize awared for each round depends on the number of shooters participating in the shoot. There is a "kids" category and an "adults" category. If a child is doing well dominating the kids category, he or she may be moved up to the adults category and shoot against the "bigger kids". It's all for fun. :-)

A running score is kept during the indoor shoot season, and prizes are awarded for the kids and adult categories.

How it works: During each round, each shooter gets to take 1 shot at an individual small square target which has an "X" printed on it and is located 20ft away. The shooter who hits closest to the center of the "X" wins the round and the prize for that round. In the event of a tie, the people who tied will shoot again (at no additional cost) until a clear winner is determined. All supplies, including BB Guns, BBs, and safety glasses for the shooters are provided by the club for use, but feel free to bring your own BB gun as long as your BB gun is spring-powered and shoots at 350 fps or less (such as a Red Ryder or a Daisy Model 25 BB gun). Only iron sights may be used. No scopes, laser sights, bipods, 20ft long barrels, etc. please. A member of the staff who is running the shoot will approve or deny your BB gun for use. While we take several precautions to ensure the safety of everyone attending/participating in the shoot, we strongly encourage you to bring your own safety glasses and wear them for the duration of the shoot. Come out for breakfast on the 2nd Sunday of the month, stay for the shoot, have a great time, and don't shoot your eye out!
